Sherwood Park Preschool is a small licensed child care centre in the Clayton Park area (directly off of the Bedford Highway and on a bus route). We are seeking reliable & energetic individuals who have experience working with toddler and preschool age groups.
At this time we are looking for Level 1, 2 or 3 educators to fill casual/substitute positions.
Applicants must have:
- Valid Level 1, 2, or 3 NS ECE Classification
- Valid CPR Level C
- Recent child abuse registry check (clear)
- Recent criminal record and vulnerable sector check (clear)
Basic Responsibilities Include:
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
- Monitoring and assessing children's progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
- Ensure compliance with licensing standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to support a cohesive learning atmosphere.
