Warm Home Insulation is looking to hire an experienced spray foam installer. We are a full-service insulation company with services ranging from spray foam, loosefill, wall injection and batt & poly. If you have 1 year or more installing medium density spray foam, this might be the opportunity for you!
Experience
Able to install medium density to specific thicknesses.
Experience installing foam to attic, walls, basements, rim joists, hot boxes and crawlspaces.
Knowledge of building science including vapour barriers, air barriers, basic framing, ventilation, and the exterior building envelop.
Health and Safety
Follow all municipal, provincial and federal health and safety regulations. Wear all required PPE
Equipment and Maintenance
Load and unload the materials from the truck
Able to clean and maintain the spray foam guns, hoses, pumps, proportioners and airless sprayers.
Maintain the cleanilness of the rig.
Able to problem solve on site technical issues with the equipment.
Quality Control
Able to test the foam for density, adhesion, and proper thicknesses.
Ensure the spray foam is sprayed with the correct pressures and ratio.
Able to problem solve on site technical issues with the foam.
Ensure the substrate is clean, proper and suitable for spray foam.
Other:
Must have valid driver’s license and your own vehicle for transportation to/from work. City transportation (city buses) does not come close to our main office location.
Able to withstand the extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Able to lift 50lb+, move barrels, and load materials.
Certified Spray Foam Installer is an asset. We are willing to send the right candidate for certification.
