The Marketing Analyst (MA) provides data support and analyses. This includes the acquisition, verification, interpretation, and distribution of actionable data and insights.

The MA will spend approximately 50% of their time working with management on ad hoc analysis, and 50% on scheduled reporting. The MA will analyze and provide points of view on various subjects such as online and offline media effectiveness, media mix, market share, store performance, and basket analysis.

The MA will use market research analysis to study market conditions and examine potential opportunities in marketing and eCommerce. They will help bring the company a deeper understanding of how JYSK performs against the competition and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the profitability of the business.

As the Marketing Analyst you will be responsible for:
Measuring the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives and strategies.
Devising and evaluating methods for collecting data, such as POS data, web data, digital marketing data, and customer surveys.
Gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions
Preparing reports designed to be understandable and actionable, and present results to peers and management

The Right Candidate has:
High level computer skills, advanced Excel skills, Word, Outlook.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of retail marketing strategies.
Experience with ecommerce and retail marketing analysis including digital and social media, flyer distribution analyses.
Experience: minimum 3 years decision support in retail with marketing effectiveness and ecommerce
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, research analyst or Statistics or relevant education and experience
