JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma and 2-3 years of related experience, and/or equivalent of education and experience
- Outgoing, positive attitude
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Efficient with strong organization skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work with minimum supervision
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willingness to learn and perform other tasks as required
- Ability to handle multiple interruptions, adjustments to tasks and changing priorities throughout the day
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, general correspondence and memos
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Willingness to be involved with continuing education, as required
JOB DUTIES:
- Adjudicate and process health & dental claims for assigned Plans
- Understand and apply the terms of benefit plans
- Process incoming / outgoing / returned mail, faxes and courier deliveries
- Enter registration forms and member information into Dental Plan
- Provide members and clients with professional and courteous service
- Assist with projects and other administrative duties as assigned
