Marketing Specialist, Cash Management

CWB’s Client Solutions team is seeking a Marketing Specialist, Cash Management to help us design and deliver marketing activities targeted to business owners that drive retention, new client growth and share of wallet!

As our subject matter expert for cash management – the products and services that help business owners manage, grow and run their businesses – you’ll have a strong voice at the strategy table and will be directly responsible for planning, executing and evaluating marketing programs, campaigns and initiatives that achieve business objectives.

What you will be responsible for:
Plan and execute digital-first marketing to enable branches and client-partner companies to pursue sales and market opportunities to attract new clients, while retaining and growing existing client relationships.
Monitor and evaluate progress of marketing tactics before, during and after campaigns and projects to find opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain a proficient understanding of CWB’s personal products, service and clients, and act as the subject matter expert.
Collaborate with agency partners and CWB’s Creative Services team to develop and deliver marketing and advertising tactics and collateral, including online and traditional advertising, search engine marketing, email marketing, website and social content, in-branch materials.
Prepare reporting for management for all tactics and channels using CWB’s sales performance dashboard.
Develop and maintain a proficient understanding of CWB’s brand, including visual identity, tone, and brand standards.
Ensure all initiatives are completed with accuracy and with a high attention to detail, and align with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for coordinating the allotted budget, maintaining up-to-date records and reporting for management.

Essential Education and Experience:
Post-secondary education in marketing, communications or digital media.
A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in marketing, communications or related discipline in an agency environment or client-side marketing department.
Must have experience running digital advertising campaigns.
Commercial banking or cash management experience considered a strong asset.

Essential Personal Competencies:
Self-directed and inventive, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including presentation, written and verbal).
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential along with a high level of attention to accuracy and details.
Familiarity with banking products, industry, and regulatory requirements impacting advertising and promotions is an asset.
