Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant
Location: The Trail Inn, Melita, MB
Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour
The Trail Inn, located in Melita, MB, is currently seeking an energetic Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant to work closely with ownership to take on the day to day oversight of the housekeeping and laundry operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform thorough, high-quality cleaning of guest rooms (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and making beds).
- Manage daily laundry operations, ensuring all linens and towels are washed, folded, and properly stocked.
- Keep common areas, such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms, fresh and inviting.
- Monitor inventory for cleaning supplies and linens, reporting shortages to management.
- Respond promptly and politely to guest requests for extra amenities or services.
- Follow established safety and sanitation protocols to uphold all health standards.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or commercial cleaning is preferred (but we are willing to train the right person!).
- A strong eye for detail and a personal commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor when interacting with guests and fellow staff.
- Ability to work both independently and as a reliable team player.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, and lift moderate weights (such as laundry baskets and cleaning supplies).
Schedule:
- Shifts begin at 9:00 AM daily with some flexibility.
- Some weekend availability is required.
