Nimoosh Grooming & Boutique is looking for a dog bather! We are an Indigenous-owned salon in the east end and want to add a new member to our team.
Duties will include:
- Bathing and drying dogs, including fluff drying
- Assisting the groomers with handling dogs
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the bathing and grooming areas (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting tubs and tables, cleaning windows, etc.)
- Refilling and organizing grooming supplies (shampoo, conditioner, etc.)
- Cutting nails and deshedding coats
- Taking out garbage and recycling
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Available to work weekends
- Comfortable around dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes
- Lots of patience

- Works well individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Is a quick-thinker and problem solver
- Is relatively active and can stand all day
- Experience with double-coated dogs in particular is an asset
