Position Summary:
We are hiring immediately for a Laminate Countertop Fabricator/Cutter. This hands-on role involves cutting, finishing, and assembling laminate countertops, loading and delivering completed pieces, and assisting with installations as needed. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working with power tools, able to lift heavy materials, and experienced in a shop or construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and finish laminate countertops to specification
- Use a variety of shop tools including table saws, mitre saws, routers, and nail guns
- Join countertop pieces and apply end finishes with precision
- Load and unload finished countertops for delivery
- Deliver materials using a company cube van
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction or fabrication environment
- Experience working with power tools and shop equipment
- Valid G-class driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry 50–60 lbs regularly
- Punctual, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
