Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President – Corporate Legal Affairs and Secretary, the main responsibilities of the candidate will be to:

Draft, negotiate and review various commercial contracts;
Participate in matters related to the acquisition and development of renewable energy projects;
Coordinate and manage the legal aspects of establishing and following up on community or financial partnerships, in close collaboration with the project development team;
Actively participate in implementing and updating various policies related to governance and in the implementation of training programs for employees;
Ensure the necessary monitoring of all commitments for acquisitions (pre and post-closing) and development projects;
Carry-out various mandates related to corporate and project financing;
Assist and advise business units in all legal aspects related to the Company’s activities.
Profile, Training and Experience
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in acquisitions or project development; experience in renewable energy or infrastructure, an asset;
Member of the Quebec Bar or the Bar of another Canadian province;
Autonomous and meticulous;
Proficient in French and English, written and spoken; Spanish, an asset;
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel);
Proven ability for teamwork and working under pressure.
