We are currently hiring KFC Shift Managers for our new store opening.
Responsibilities:
10% People
- Responsible for providing leadership in the restaurant – recognizing and motivating team Members; coaching and training the team in order to achieve operational excellence
- Must consistently demonstrate HWWT principles and utilize HWWT recognition programs
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act, local health and safety codes and company safety/ security policies and procedures
- Assist RGM/ARGM in maintaining an ongoing positive people relationships
40% Customer
- Manage designated shifts ensuring that all KFC policies and procedures, principally those contained in the CHAMPS Standards Library and ROCC are adhered to
- Ensure customers are encouraged to complete online guest experience survey and restaurant‘s targets are achieved by every shift / daily and weekly follow up
- Ensure the Triple Check accuracy is used while serving the customers.
- Prepare action plans to address any in-store issues and effectively communicate these plans to the team
- Manage the customer complaints by BLAST, winning each customer back by WOW service
- Assist RGM with the roll-out of new products/promotions, ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs
30 % Sales
- Ensure the correct volume of product is prepared to meet the level of business and accurately maintain the product control sheet & MPnC.
- Provide supervision of hourly paid employees to ensure that CHAMPSCHECK and ROCC standards are maintained throughout the shift.
- Maintain the Speed of Service and Upselling targets through use of all provided tools.
- Complete all daily paperwork and in-store banking for the designated shift
- Complete the end of shift/end of day stock check, highlighting discrepancies as necessary
20% Profit
- Control profit and loss by ensuring team members follow cash control/security procedures, maintain inventory, manage labour, review financial reports and take action when appropriate
- Ensure that sufficient labour and supplies are available, taking corrective action where necessary
- Ensure the correct volume of product is prepared to meet the level of business and accurately maintain the product control sheet
- Prepare all required financial plans/reports and submit them on a timely basis
- Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility and grounds through the use of a Preventative Maintenance Plan based on corporate standards
- Complete all daily paperwork and in-store banking for the designated shift
- Complete the end of shift/end of day stock check, highlighting discrepancies as necessary
- Participate in and/or lead key projects as identified by RGM.
Experience
- High School education
- One or more years’ work experience in food service or related industry
- Previous supervisory experience
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email)
- Basic business, math and accounting skills
- Strong drive for results and ability to self-manage
