Position Overview:
The Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting will have an active role in monthly financial reporting and analysis, budget preparation, annual audit and ad hoc reporting. The experienced FP&A professional will apply financial acumen to provide useful information and insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly company financial statements (executive financial package)

Work closely with the CFO and Senior Leadership on corporate strategies and goals

Lead the annual external audit

Analyze P&L actual results in comparison with budget and investigate variances to better understand performance

Develop financial systems, processes, models and create efficiencies through improvement of existing processes
- Directly manages one Financial Analyst, providing guidance, coaching, and review of deliverables

Partner with other operational teams outside of Finance to achieve corporate objectives
- Ownership of chart of accounts and business unit maintenance and setup in ERP

Prepare and review recurring monthly journal entries including tax entries

Prepare borrowing base certificate, and covenant calculations for our lender

Report on KPIs and operational metrics

Promptly respond to queries and ad-hoc report requests
Skills & Qualifications:
- Completed professional accounting designation CPA
-
Minimum 10 years of experience in a Finance management role

Effective communication skills both written and verbal
-
Advanced Excel skills and competence performing analysis on large datasets

Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, with the ability to prioritize and deliver high‑quality work within tight deadlines

Takes initiative with ability to manage multiple competing projects

Self-driven, motivated and ability to work as part of a team
Skills Considered an Asset:
- In-depth understanding of the IT industry, including its vendors and distributors

Familiarity with JD Edwards ERP system
