Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 310S Automotive Service Technician or Level 3 / Level 4 Apprentice to join our growing team in Oshawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest industry standards.
Level 3 and Level 4 Apprentices are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle concerns.
- Complete repairs on engines, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and drivetrain systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, and fluid replacements.
- Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Conduct road tests when required to verify repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and document all work performed.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations and vehicle status.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician or currently registered as a Level 3 or Level 4 Apprentice.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dealership experience is considered an asset.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Own tools are required.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
