Our client is currently seeking an individual for thier accounting and finance department.
The individual will be responsible for full cycle accounting & finance functions including:
- Bookkeeping and data entry
- Monthly financial statements
- Account reconciliations
- Accounts receivables including billing and collections
- Accounts payables entry and cheque printing
- Payroll preparation & submission to 3rd party payroll service
- GST filings
- Assist with yearend files preparation
- Filing and other related duties.
Our client is a non profit organization, therefore a knowledge of non profit operations ie revenue recognition, fund accounting, etc., would be an asset
Qualicications
- Post secondary education or a recognised accounting diploma or certificate
- 1 - 3 years of bookkepping experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Intermediate working knowledge of Quickbooks Online and Excel including lookup and pivot table functions
