Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 310T or 310J Mechanic licensed to work in Ontario Canada to join team. This role gives you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of heavy trucks and trailers as well as pickups and utility/camper trailers. As a valued member of our team you will help with the diagnostic, maintenance and repair of all types of suspension on all types of trucks, trailers and semi trucks. Your mechanical expertise will be highly valued here to help us expand our services we offer our customers including brakes, bearings, steering components, alignment and other chassis related services.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment such as pickup trucks, trailers, semi trucks and semi trailers using advanced air tools and our 100 ton press and Ubolt bender.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret electrical systems, electric and hydraulic brake components, and other suspension repairs and upgrades for accurate troubleshooting.
- Conduct heavy lifting operations safely while handling industrial equipment and ensuring proper use of lifting devices.
- Repair and maintain automotive suspension systems including leaf springs, air bags, rubber suspension, bushings, shackles, equalizers, brakes, bearings, hubs and so much more.
- Operate heavy machinery such as our 100 ton press, 30 ton Ubolt bender, forklifter, king pin press and more.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities; document work performed in detailed service reports.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble new equipment or replace worn parts using welding skills and mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid 310T or 310J mechanic license with proven experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Any experience working on a variety of brands is welcome as we service all types of suspension on all types of vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of trucks, trailers, semi trucks, semi trailers and the ability to adapt to changing jobs on a regular basis as no two days are the same.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with welding, electrical repairs/testing, hydrualic brake line repairs, and any other relivent experiance is advantageous.
- Experience with heavy lifting is essential.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, industrial assembly processes, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs and quotes is manditory.

- Utility/camper Trailers - we service everything from the frame down. Hangers, shackles, bolts, bushings, axle replacement, bearing serivce and brake replacement hydrualic/electric
- Pickup Truck - Coils, struts, shocks, leaf springs, lift kits, leveling kits and air bag installation with compressor systems.
- Transport/Semi Trailers - whole frame down restoration on the suspension, Hanger replacment, bushing swaps, air bags, leaf springs, equalizers, torque rods, king pins and alignment.
- Transport/Semi Trucks - Leaf springs, air bag replacment, alot of bushings front and rear, alignments, equlizers, torque rods, beam swaps/rebush and more.

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
