Looking to immediately hire a full time afternoon shop supervisor
Experience :
- 5 years or more of manufacturing or fabricating experience
- Must be well organized and be able to work well with others
- Must have a strong knowledge of processes and fabrication
- Must have excellent knowledge of use and care for tools
- Welding and fabricating experience a necessity
Skills:
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, and tables
- Work well with others in supervisory position
- Must be able to work diplomatically with customers on a limited basis
- Must be able to work afternoons Monday to Thursday - 10 hour shift
- Be skilled in problem solving, job task planning, and organizing
- Reading, writing, and numeracy skills required
- Weight handling: up to 50lbs
- Must have own tools and steel toe safety boots
- Fast-paced environment and tight deadlines
- Standing for long periods of time
