Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS software
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus but training will be provided
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles demonstrates your commitment to guest satisfaction and teamwork
