Responsibilities
- Coordinate to provide a positive and productive work environment for all farm workers
- Supervise and oversee daily operation of the mushroom farm and farm workers
- Supervise and monitor the quality of mushroom product
- Supervise and oversee mushroom growing operation
- Manage and maintain farm equipment, facilities and supplies
- Develop work schedule and establish procedures
- Ensure harvesting activities deadlines are met
- Assign work to farm workers
- Ensure farm safety and security procedure are followed
- Supervise and maintain inventory of product
Requirements
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with hand tools is essential.
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles related to crop cultivation and soil management.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience supervising farm staff or managing agricultural operations is preferred but not required.
