Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
