What you’ll be doing
- Lead Network Engineering and Operations team to design, implement and maintain network infrastructure for multi-cloud, on-prem and branch offices
- Design and develop network infrastructure using automation technologies or infastructure as code
- Plan operational readiness and acceptance for new projects and network deployments
- Support 24/7 operation, manage internal Network team and vendor activity, implement changes and resolve escalated issues
- Schedules maintenance to upgrade technology currency and to avoid incidents
- Create business network architecture models that reflect our strategies and goals
- Work with Engineers and Developers from other teams to design network solutions
- Ensure that network systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
- Assist with project plan management and transofmation iniatives
- Design a well-informed network cloud strategy and manage the adoption process
- Regularly evaluate network cloud applications, hardware, and software
- Design and organize network cloud systems and platforms
The key technology in our environment include:
- Cloud Networks: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Network Technologies: Check Point, Cisco, Arista, VeloCloud SDWAN
- Scripting and Programming Languages: Bash, Python, Powershell
- Other Technologies Used: IaC, Git, Pipelines, Monitoring, Wireshark
What you bring
- 10+ years combination of network design, technical implementation, and network infrastructure architecture experience
- Excellent knowledge of network technologies and current networking trends
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated network reports to management and other technology development partners
- Experience with highly complex network architecture (cloud, on-premise, and hybrid)
- Previous work on implementing multiple complex enterprise level changes simultaneously, creating standards, and promoting and measuring adoption
- Experience designing network full-stack solutions and building services on cloud platforms (AWS and GCP)
- Professional level network certification preferred
- Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
Salary range - $77,700 - $157,000

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
