SKILLED LABOURER

We are currently seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our team of professionals who are enthusiastic, determine and dedicated to providing quality work and expertise in commercial and light industrial construction industries. This career opportunity is a full-time position located in Edmonton.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to General Manager/Site Supervisor, the Skilled Labourer is responsible for assisting with their specific skill (carpentry, drywall, taping, etc.) on a project as well as providing support to our ongoing projects.
We are also open to those who may not have a specific skill but has prior experience in construction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
· Carrying out / assisting with skilled and general construction tasks
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Maintaining active communication with site Supervisors and Managers
· Report to the project lead for materials and issues with the job at hand.
· Work alongside various individuals with various levels of skills and experience.
· Must be able to work alone and part of a team.
REQUIREMENTS
· Strong Work ethic
· Clean police record (necessity)
· Construction experience is a must (Min. 3 years)
· Tickets or training is an asset.
· Skills in carpentry, painting, or taping, etc.
· VALID Drivers License, working vehicle or other transportation to downtown office.
· WHMIS
· Basic hand tools.
