Schedule
This position is with a variable schedule based on weekly production needs and seasonal demand. Workdays may range from 3 to 5 weekdays per week, depending on workload and busier production periods, averaging 32 hours per week.
This day-shift role, Monday to Friday, usually between 7:30am to 4:30 pm.
Employees are expected to be available for assigned shifts as scheduled.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Backup Machine Operator / Full-Time Production Associate – Bottle Feeder to join our production team. This role is responsible for supporting machine operations, feeding bottles onto the production line, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with daily production activities to ensure efficient operations. We are a small production company operating one production line with several manual processes, so the ideal candidate should be flexible, hands-on, and willing to assist in various areas of production as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manually feed empty bottles on feeding bed based on production requirements.
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency before unloading the bottles.
- Label and prepare products for packaging.
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently when needed.
- Serve as backup support for primary machine operators.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Report machine issues, product defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with general production duties as assigned.
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
- Ability to lift from 15- 40 lbs and work well with team.
- Able to keep a fast pace on bottling line to meet daily targets.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
This role requires a motivated individual with hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical skills combined with safety awareness to contribute effectively to our production team.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
