Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofers and labourers to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work safely at heights and handle physically demanding tasks. Prior experience with hand tools, and heights is highly desirable. Duties
- Removal of old roofing systems using various tools
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to perform installation and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely
- Assist with related construction tasks including framing, carpentry, and general handyman duties as needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean work area and properly dispose of debris
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools essential for roofing tasks
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Prior handyman experience is a plus
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
