We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Managerto join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about working with a talented group of professionals and managing complex projects, we would love to hear from you!
YOUR Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in planning and executing projects by coordinating schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
- Assist in developing and tracking project timelines, identifying risks, and helping implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate procurement activities including researching specifications, sourcing vendors, processing purchase requisitions, and tracking equipment lead times
- Monitor project progress, maintain accurate cost tracking, and support budget control efforts
- Manage and update project documentation, including logs, drawings, change orders, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure clear communication and timely project delivery
- Support contractor coordination, review performance, and assist with billing and invoice verification
- Attend site meetings, provide progress updates, and help resolve routine project issues to maintain workflow efficiency
- Assist in preparing closeout documentation and ensure all project deliverables are completed and submitted on time
- Utilize internal systems and tools to track project milestones, documentation, and reporting requirements
YOUR Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical project coordination or a similar role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and project specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Experience with Sage300 is considered an asset
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
