Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality service.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Ensure all work areas are kept organized and sanitized throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for success in this role
Pay: From $18.75 per hour
