Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food and eager to contribute to a dynamic dining environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Support team members in meal assembly and plating for service
- Follow proper food safety practices at all times, including proper storage and sanitation
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
