Orillia Tutoring Jobs for Qualified Teachers and Educators (Grades 1–6)
S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring & Test Preparation Services is an award-winning, teacher-led tutoring service hiring certified teachers and early childhood educators for long-term, in-home and local library tutoring in Orillia, Ontario.
This role is designed for educators who are committed to building lasting relationships with students and families, not short-term or casual tutoring arrangements.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking qualified teachers and educators who:
- Are committed to student success
- Can work a minimum of 4 hours per week (Mon-Fri evenings)
- Are available for a 12-month commitment
- Are ready to start immediately
Tutor in These Subjects & Grades
Primary / Junior (Grades 1–6)
- Mathematics
- Language (Reading & Writing)
(Ontario Curriculum aligned)
Work Schedule
- Flexible scheduling (minimum 4 hours/week)
- Tutoring typically takes place Monday–Friday, between 4:00–8:00 PM
- 12-month availability required

Relevant Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Bachelor of Education
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Certification (Primary/Junior)
- 1:1 Teaching and/or Tutoring experience
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (upon hire)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to commit to minimum 4 hours/week for 12 months
