Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and maintaining excellent food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure appealing dishes are served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed
- A genuine passion for the food industry and a desire to deliver excellent guest experiences
