We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine diagnostics, brake service, suspension work, and electrical troubleshooting
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures to accurately diagnose issues
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and industrial equipment to ensure safety and reliability
- Utilize welding skills for repairs requiring metal fabrication or structural reinforcement
- Assist with assembly, disassembly, and installation of mechanical components in various machinery
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and adheres to manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings clearly and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician; dealership experience is preferred
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, electrical systems, HVAC components, and industrial equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues accurately
- Experience with welding, assembly, electrical work, or HVAC systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications or licenses in heavy equipment operation or industrial maintenance are advantageous

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
