Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems in commercial and residential buildings. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively with various tools and materials. Prior experience in construction or insulation work is preferred, along with the ability to read blueprints and utilize hand tools efficiently. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools including caulking guns, knives, trowels, and other construction tools to cut, shape, and secure insulation materials
- Apply caulking or sealants to ensure proper insulation coverage and prevent air leaks
- Assist in the preparation of work sites by measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation components
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and handling materials responsibly
- Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or insulation installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction practices is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are essential
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is necessary
- Experience with caulking or sealing techniques is a bonus
