We are seeking a skilled Analyzer Technician to support commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process analyzer systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with analytical instrumentation used to measure gas, liquid, and environmental process streams.

What you get to do:
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of online process analyzers, including gas chromatographs, H2S/SO2/CO2 analyzers, oxygen and moisture analyzers, and continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS).
- Support commissioning and startup of new analyzer systems and process units.
- Calibrate instrumentation according to manufacturer specifications and CSA/ISA standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibrations, and inspections to meet provincial and federal regulatory requirements (e.g., AER, Environment Canada).
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and HSE teams to ensure safe and reliable performance of analyzer systems.
- Assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures and contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- Journeyperson Instrumentation and Control Technician, or equivalent technical background.
- Experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar technical role considered an asset.
- Minimum 3–5 years of analyzer experience in industrial environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, or refining preferred).
- Strong understanding of process analytical systems, sample conditioning systems, and calibration standards.
- Familiarity with DCS/PLC interfaces and analyzer communication protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Valid safety tickets (CSTS, H2S Alive, WHMIS, etc.) considered an asset.
