What you will do
Under the general direction of the Senior Manager, Corporate Performance, you provide proactive support and insight fundamental to the planning, monitoring, and reporting the Bank’s financial performance. As a member of the Investment Governance and Corporate Performance (IGCP) team in the Financial Services (FIN) department, you provide strategic and financial analysis and facilitate sound decision making, ensuring effective planning and management of financial resources for the Bank’s departments and initiatives. You coordinate the work plan for this multi-disciplinary business line and provide support with regards to corporate performance, investment governance, financial management, reporting and analysis. You are an excellent communicator, accurate and efficient in your work and client-focused with your internal and external stakeholders.
You contribute to the Bank’s financial planning exercise by coordinating and supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting exercises. You monitor the Bank’s financial performance by providing sound analysis of variances to budget for the Bank’s departments and portfolio of initiatives, identifying trends, impacts and recommending mitigation strategies. You consult with colleagues in Financial Services and the Bank’s departments to establish relevant metrics that will be reported on as key performance indicators. You design, develop, prepare and evolve management reporting and information packages that provide insight into the performance of the organization and enable the optimization of resources. You proactively research and recommend best practices in corporate performance management, investment governance and management reporting, including the use of dashboards. You also provide support and analysis to address in a timely manner any ad-hoc queries that tie into the corporate performance and investment governance mandate.

As a team player, you demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and actively participate in the achievement of team goals
Knowledge of the Bank’s functions and strategic priorities as well as an understanding of the Bank’s corporate policies, governance bodies and decision-making processes
Experience working with SAP, Adaptive Insights and/or any business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
Your education and experience
CPA designation (CA, CMA or CGA), with an active membership in good standing or in the process of obtaining a CPA designation with a minimum of two to three years of relevant work experience, including experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
What you need to know
Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.

Hybrid Work Model #LI-Hybrid
The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will only be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person. For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role. You are expected to live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $81,865 to $96,310 (job grade 16)
Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
