Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic specializing in 310S and 310T certifications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance, and industrial machinery. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on expertise with power tools and schematics are highly preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC systems, and more.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Perform maintenance on heavy equipment etc.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
- Operate heavy equipment safely during maintenance or repair procedures
- Follow safety protocols for industrial equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet quality standards
- Assist with assembly or installation of mechanical components on various machinery
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and solutions effectively
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with automotive repair (certifications such as 310S/310T preferred)
- Dealership experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems and industrial equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Electrical experience related to vehicle and industrial machinery systems is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required for equipment operation when necessary
