We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in Burlington. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to in a private home. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor health status
- Meal prep
- Support patients with mobility and transfer tasks
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Support client with dementia care through specialized caregiving techniques
- Respecting the dignity and comfort of the client
Skills
- Experience in supporting people living with Dementia in home care preferred
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to handle cleaning duties responsibly to maintain a hygienic environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and work environments
- Basic meal preparation skills to support nutritional needs of clients

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
