Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Human Resources function across Canada and the United States
- Partner with leadership to support organizational growth and workforce planning initiatives
- Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices
- Develop and enhance HR programs, policies, systems, and processes
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
- Support compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee engagement programs
- Lead and mentor members of the HR team
- Manage office administration and workplace support functions
- Drive initiatives that strengthen accountability, performance, and culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience
- Experience supporting organizations through growth, change, or scaling initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR compliance
- Experience supporting US-based employees or operations is considered a strong asset
- Proven ability to coach leaders and influence business decisions
- Strong understanding of performance management and organizational development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working within technology or high-growth environments is preferred
- CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent HR designation is considered an asset
