Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas and other menu items using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and maintaining inventory
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and proper storage of ingredients
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and serving roles is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to a lively work environment
