Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
- Support the team in serving guests efficiently and courteously
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with meal preparation and food industry operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on delivering excellent food service
Pay: $16.00-$18.20 per hour
