Job Summary
Rethink Bioclean's Mechanical division is looking for a dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our Commercial Kitchen Hood and equipment Install Team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities.
Duties
- On Site welding
- Ductwork installation; Kitchen hood and components installation;
- Support coworkers , and other tradespeople with timely work completion and organization.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely under supervision
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Read blueprints/engineered drawings for instructions
- Travel with coworkers from Regina to other Sk locations .
- Requirements
- 5 years experience in construction field
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Prior experience in construction/handyperson or related fields is required such as basic plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and welding.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
- Willingness to work long days. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with extended days off between projects to balance hours worked and work/life quality.
This position is vital for supporting construction operations and ensuring project success through hard work, safety awareness, and teamwork.
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
