As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our patio furniture warehouse operations.

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the daily operations of our patio furniture warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role assists with supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipping and receiving, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, Day Shift at Brantford location.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Oversee receiving, inventory organization, and product quality.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and other warehouse duties as needed.
Inventory & Administration
- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and support process improvements.
Leadership
- Support, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
- Help assign daily work and prioritize tasks.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
Customer Service
- Assist customers with pickups and inquiries.
- Coordinate with sales and office teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse experience, including experience in a lead hand, supervisory, or assistant management role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Forklift and reach truck experience; valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using computers, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve operational and inventory issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in patio furniture, furniture distribution, building materials, or a related industry.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
