Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient processes, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to implement best practices in warehouse management.
Duties
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping of products
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and optimize supply chain processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or operations within a similar industry
- Journeyperson Parts Technician would be considered an asset, materials handling and planning for production
- PFEP - Plan for Every Part experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
