Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Journeyperson Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, experience with industrial and construction environments, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems in residential and light commercial environments, including low voltage and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in residential and light commercial renovation settings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform wiring, conduit bending, and system upgrades.
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to install or upgrade electrical infrastructure.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for complex electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
