Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibility:
General Labourer / Punch Press Operator needed for a manufacturing environment.
The candidate will assist current operators with materials, machine setup, cleaning, organizing, and general production duties. They will also be trained on how to safely operate a punch press to blank, form, and cut metal, plastic, and rubber components.
Duties include:
-Learning and following safety procedures and standard operating procedures
-Assisting operators with shearing and lubricating materials
-Cleaning and tidying work areas
-Organizing, labelling, and storing materials
-Assisting with machine setup and tear down
-Training on safe punch press operation
-Following instructions from managers and supervisors
-Working independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00 per hour
