Markstone Landscaping is looking for a full-time Machine Operator to join our growing excavation team. In this role, you'll work on the excavation of swimming pools and a variety of residential landscape construction projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). If you enjoy operating equipment, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking team, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Overview:
As a Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of our excavation and construction crews, operating equipment to support pool installations and landscape construction projects. Responsibilities include pool excavation, grading, trenching, site preparation, material handling, and assisting with various construction activities. You will work closely with crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards that Markstone Landscaping is known for.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment.
- Valid G Driver's License (required).
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience in pool excavation or landscape construction is an asset but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
