We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Custodian / Store Cleaner to help keep our store clean, safe, and welcoming for our customers and staff.
This is a part-time position working approximately 2–3 shifts per week (16-28 hrs/wk). The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize two staff/customer bathrooms
- Clean and tidy the staff lunch room
- Sweep and mop store floors
- Empty garbage and replace garbage bags
- Take garbage and recycling to the appropriate disposal areas
- Dust shelves, displays, and merchandise throughout the store
- Clean high-touch areas as required
- Refill bathroom and cleaning supplies when needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Complete other light cleaning duties as required
Qualifications
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to complete physical cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, sweeping, and mopping
- Able to safely lift and carry garbage bags and cleaning supplies
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Positive and respectful attitude
Schedule
- 2–3 shifts per week
