Site: Long-Term Care Service Housing
Location: Scarborough, ON
Available Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Important Note: As this position is based at a long-term care facility, a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) will be required as part of the pre-employment process. You will be responsible for obtaining the VSC; however, the cost will be reimbursed upon submission of a valid proof of payment (receipt).

Job duties a Security Supervisor at Long-Term Care Service Housing:
- Delegate, lead, and maximize team performance
- Ensure that all work assignments are fully staffed and completed according to job requirements
- To assist the Security Guards in ensuring the safety and security of people, valuable materials, and classified documents pertaining to the premises
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to security staff to promote professional development and maintain operational standards
- Be the first and main contact with local police and fire station in case of any emergencies or any site related issues
- Ensure all incident reports are completed and reviewed
- After hour requirement to attend site if called upon by Wincon Management.
- The supervisor has a specialist advisory responsibility and is required to regularly instruct and guide subordinates to ensure that the work is performed safely
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License issued under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA)
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level “C” Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required and must be valid/clear
- Minimum 1 years of security experience in a residential, healthcare, or multi-functional campus environment preferred
- Minimum 1 year of security experience in a concierge, residential, or commercial environment preferred
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
- Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations
- Advanced computer literacy and ability to learn multiple security systems and digital platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is an asset
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm monitoring systems is an asset
- Must be physically capable of walking, standing, climbing stairs, and conducting extended patrols
- Possession of a personal vehicle is an asset
