Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the hotel, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues promptly to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve potential hazards or needed repairs.
- Assist with landscaping, groundskeeping, and general outdoor upkeep as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to prioritize tasks and maintain maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or repair experience (preferably in hospitality or a similar setting).
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to different challenges.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
