Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. We're specifically looking to hire a weekend morning cleaner (Sat-Sun 7-10am). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the common areas of our restaurant, not the kitchen or storage areas, as this is the responsibility of other staff members. There is an opportunity for additional hours on Tuesdays, as we're closed that day and use it to prepare for the week ahead. There could also be additional work in terms of house keeping in our short term rental units, experience in this field would be an asset. This position is largely what you'd like to make of it, it will be based off your experience, availability, and willingness to work, all of this can be discussed in an interview.

Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas
- Clean restrooms, and common areas to ensure they are hygienic and well-maintained
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or needs for replenishment
- Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Adhere to the scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed to support facility maintenance
Experience
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
- Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
