The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Multimedia Specialist for our Dufresne Marketing Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB.
As a Multimedia Specialist you will be responsible for expanding our multimedia presence and exploring innovative approaches to transform content delivery to constantly evolve and enhance how we deliver digital content to our audience. You will independently develop concepts and creative direction under strict deadlines. The Multimedia Specialist will also interact with other departments to ensure project specification, brand standards and deadlines are met. Typical projects may include creation of collateral materials, infographics, social media graphics, motion graphics, animation, scripting, filming, and editing of videos, and more.

As the Multimedia Specialist you will:
- Develop and design multimedia content, including video, audio, graphics, animation, and interactive media, to support our marketing and communications efforts.
- Create innovative multimedia materials that meet stakeholder requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for multimedia projects.
- Ensure multimedia content meets company standards for quality and brand consistency.
- Work with project teams to ensure multimedia projects are completed within tight deadlines.
- Monitor and track multimedia project progress.
- Ensure all multimedia materials are stored, backed up and archived properly.
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in multimedia design, graphic design, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in using multimedia software and tools such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or equivalent software.
- At least 2 years of experience in multimedia design and production.
- Experience in script writing, videography, editing and production.
- Knowledge of video production techniques, best practices, and standards.
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana considered an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills.
- Ability to visualize the written word and express it in pictures and sound to achieve the project vision.
- Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others and under limited supervision.
- Skill in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Light travel may be required for locational video shoots and for professional development.
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required.
