Summary
We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team in Canada. This role is vital in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our properties in line with our commitment to sustainability and community well-being. Based in Canada, you will contribute directly to creating welcoming environments for tenants and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outdoor areas using hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment.
- Perform landscape maintenance including weeding, mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning including tight straight lawn edging
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules.
- Parking lot cleaning, blowing, garbage removal
- A keen EYE to make areas better
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify and address issues.
- Assist with general property maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure safety standards are followed during all groundskeeping activities.
- Support sustainability initiatives by implementing eco-friendly practices.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall appearance and safety of the properties.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping.
- Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Prior experience with sustainable practices is a plus.
