Overview:
A Dual Rate Cage & Coin Supervisor/Cage Cashier is responsible for performing the duties of a Cage & Coin Supervisor and/or the duties of a Cage Cashier based on their shift assignment.
- Under the direction of the Cage Shift Manager, the supervisor is accountable for funds, verification of wins, handling customer disputes, enforcing department policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned. The individual will have a strong working knowledge of all areas of the Casino Cage.

The Cage & Coin Cashieris responsible for managing window impressments, reconciling Main Bank Inventory, filling and reconciling food & beverage floats and completing fills & credits for our Table Games department. Performs high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Duties as a Cage & Coin Supervisor.

Accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development.
- Responsible for overseeing the daily Cage operations and enforcing accounting controls in order to safeguard the company assets.
- Maintains general awareness of the cage operation at all times, and complies with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
- His or her strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to the management of people and interacting with customers, while ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and other applicable laws, policies and regulations.

Ability to monitor business demands and make necessary scheduling and staffing adjustments.

In charge of training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees.

Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with all departments.

Handle employee related issued with composure and professionalism.

Handle customer disputes in a professional manner.

Interact with vendors and members of other departments in a professional manner on the phone, via email and in person

Performs MOD responsibilities on a rotation
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Duties as a Cage Cashier.

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsible for the impress bank issued. Perform guest and in house monetary transactions.

Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.

Ensuring adherence to FINTRAC compliance standards.

Required to sell OLG lottery tickets.

Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with our Standards and Procedures (S&P's), and within the guidelines of Internal Controls. Signs all documents legibly and in accordance with S&P's.

Complete cash transactions between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner.

Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain integrity of the Cage operation. Apply accurate transaction and balancing practices.

Participate in the daily reconciliation process(es).
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers and supervisors of concerns and observations.

Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

The individual will have a strong working knowledge of all areas of the Casino Cage.

Managerial or Supervisory experience in the related field of three (3) or more years. Preferably within a high volume Casino Cage department.

Working knowledge of computer software packages and have the ability to make progress on multiple tasks under time constraints.

Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and managerial skills.
-
Ability to obtain a CAT 1 license with the Alcohol and Gaming Commision of Ontario.

Must be 19 years of age or older.

- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
