We are searching for an ELECTRICAL WORKING JOURNEYMAN/WOMAN 309A to join the Vasset Energy Team!

Applicants selected for employment must possess the following mandatory, valid training certificates:
- Working at Heights (from a Ministry of Labour approved Training Provider)
- Elevated Work Platform
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness
- WHMIS
- Must be a member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario (formerly OCOT).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be directly involved in the electrical portion of construction projects.
- You will work safely on site, observing all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- You will read and interpret drawings, diagrams and specifications.
- You will be challenged by installing wiring and surface mount/overhead cables, splicing, terminating and labeling conductors in a timely manner.
- You will test and measure voltages, ampacities, insulation integrity.
YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Multi-residential New Build construction sites.
- Indoor and Outdoor environment.
YOUR PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND SITE DEMANDS
- You are capable of lifting more than 50lbs, can push and pull various types of cables as well as conductors and operate in extreme temperatures.
- You are comfortable using hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, saws, pipe benders, etc.)
- You can perform duties on platform ladders, scaffolds and elevated platforms.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age with Grade 12 education / high school diploma or equivalent.
- Working at Heights (from a Ministry of Labour approved Training Provider)
- Elevated Work Platform
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness
- WHMIS
- Must be a member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario (formerly OCOT).

- Slab: 2 years (preferred)
- Journeyman: 1 year (preferred)
